Maryam Bazark was a fourth-grade student.
She used to say, “I want to become famous.”
In her notebook, Maryam had written a poem by Mostafa Rahmandoust, a children’s poem with the same simple and bright spirit that belongs to the world of children.
Later, that poem was scanned and placed over her photograph, as if the words themselves had come to stand beside her.
