Reza Ranjbar
Reza Ranjbar was a first-grade student.
In an interview, General Radan, the commander of Iran’s police force, said that some of the children martyred in this school were the children of police personnel. On the day of the attack, their fathers were on duty and could not reach their own children, because they considered all the children of Iran to be their own.
Reza Ranjbar was one of them.
This is the only information we have found about Reza. But even this brief detail carries a heavy meaning. He was a first-grade child whose father served the people, and on the day of the crime, duty and grief stood against each other in the cruelest possible way.
Reza’s story reaches us with only a name, a grade, and this painful truth: while his father was serving the children of the nation, his own child was taken from him.
