Parsa Mokhtarinasab was a fifth-grade student.
His mother says:
“I was at home when I heard the sound of the explosion. I went outside and saw the neighbors saying that the school had been targeted.
Parsa loved being a football goalkeeper.
I quickly went toward the school and saw children lying in pieces in the schoolyard. It had become like the Day of Ashura.
On the day of the attack, he took all his books with him to school. Now, what remains from him is a half-burned school bag, holding all those books.”
Arsam, Parsa’s younger brother, no longer has a playmate for table football.
What remains of Parsa is a goalkeeper’s dream, a burned school bag, and a little brother left without the companion who once stood beside him in play.
