Benyamin Jangjoo was a third-grade student.
A video of his mother was later published, in which her words were broadcast online before the Human Rights Council.
She said:
“The morning of February 28 was the hardest day of our lives.
They told us to go to the school to take Benyamin home. I was near the school when the missile hit it. I reached the front of the school, and then the second missile struck the school too.
I no longer had the strength to walk. My heart burned. My legs could not carry me anymore. I sat down right there.
It is hard.
I want to say this to the people: to those who are watching this, to those who hear this voice, and accept this truth. See it and understand it. Identify the aggressors.
I ask the United Nations to condemn those responsible for this crime: America and Israel.”
